New to 2019!

On the evening of January the 22nd, we launched our 2019 year at the Murrumba Downs Tavern.

We started off presenting our General Meeting dates, which have now moved back to the 4th Wednesday of the Month. The dates are listed below (and are also listed here on our website). Note will not be running a General Meeting in April due to school holidays & easter.

New for the Kallangur Business Association this year, we will be running Workshops for Businesses after each General Meeting, plus a bonus double Workshop at the beginning of April.

Our first one is scheduled on Wednesday 27th February, where Mick Thomas from Outclass Accountants will give us tips on How to save $500 with your Accountant or the Tax Department. Hope to see you there.

ATO Releases A5 Scam Warning Flyer

You may have already seen KBA member, North Brisbane Data Recovery’s post on a ATO Phone Scam that is going around claiming you owe money.

Well the ATO have developed a A5 flyer in 8 different languages (incl English), that can be used to inform the public about scams pretending to be from the ATO.

Don’t get caught yourself by these scammers.

First Qld Women in Business Summit scheduled for March

Business Women of the Moreton Bay Region, this event oganised by the Women In Business Awards of Australia, could significantly benefit your business.

The Queensland Women in Business Summit is 2 days of empowering talks, workshops & mentor programs, scheduled for the 7th & 8th March, 2019 at the Novotel in Surface Paradise.
