Next General Meeting

For your Calendar, our next General Meeting is scheduled for 7pm Wednesday 26th June, at the Murrumba Downs Tavern, followed by a Business Workshop.

Workshops going well

We have run 3 more workshops since our last Newsletter in March, and have now published them all, (plus the first one from February), on our website here. So you too, can see them and get use of the valuable advice given.

Our Next Workshop
Please join us for our next workshop on “How the Federal Budget will Affect Small Businesses, presented by Michael Thomas from Outclass Accountants. This Workshop is scheduled for the evening of Wednesday 26th June, (scheduled to run after the June General Meeting).

We are going to the Moreton Bay / North Brisbane Business Expo, on Friday 5th of July. The details are in the article below. If you are interested in attending, entrance is free, you just need to register.

Stephen Miles MP has extended his Pyjama Drive to the end of June. Don’t miss out on your chance to help Children in Care this winter. More details in this article below:

Welcome to the Kallangur Business Association’s March Newsletter.

February Business Workshop

We would like to thank Michael Thomas from Outclass Accountants, who ran a presentation on “How to save $500 with your Accountant” at the KBA’s first Business Workshop in February, (following the General Meeting).

Michael gave a wonderful presentation, giving us small businesses heaps of ideas, and renewed enthusiasm to get back on top of our accounts.

If you missed February’s presentation, don’t worry. We will be posting it on our website in the next week or two.

What’s Next

Don’t miss out on our next business workshop, on “Online Presence for Businesses” – scheduled for March 27th, following our General Meeting.

Newsletter – February 2019

Welcome to the first KBA Newsletter for 2019, in a new dynamic format.

Launch Night

On the evening of January the 22nd, we launched our 2019 year at the Murrumba Downs Tavern.

We started off presenting our General Meeting dates, which have now moved back to the 4th Wednesday of the Month.

The dates are listed below (and are also listed here on our website). Note we will not be running a General Meeting in April due to school holidays & easter.

New for the Kallangur Business Association this year, we will be running Workshops for Businesses after each General Meeting, plus a bonus double Workshop at the beginning of April.

Our first KBA Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday 27th February, where Mick Thomas from Outclass Accountants will give us tips on How to save $500 with your Accountant or the Tax Department.

We have just sent out the Membership Renewal Invoices for 2019, (with our 2018 memberships having expired on 31st December, 2018).
